RO PLANT-KUTTANAD

Nestled in the heart of Kerala, Kuttanad, faces a formidable challenge. In a tireless quest to safeguard the precious resource, The Viswasanthi Foundation is dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of water contamination in Kuttanad. This area, spanning the districts of Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Pathanamthitta, suffers from severe water pollution due to the use of chemical substances in paddy cultivation. To combat this challenge, we have implemented an innovative solution: the deployment of the solar grid powered smart RFID-enabled dispensing automated RO water plant. This cutting-edge plant has the remarkable capacity to produce up to 2000 litres of clean drinking water per hour, benefiting over 1000 individuals, including more than 300 families, schools, and places of worship within the region.

Our primary goal is to promote sustainable water solutions in Kuttanad through the deployment of this intelligent RO plant, equipped with advanced filtration systems, in order to effectively address the adverse impacts of water contamination caused by non-biodegradable chemicals prevalent in paddy cultivation. This state-of-the-art plant, powered entirely by solar energy, adheres to the stringent standards established by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), ensuring access to clean drinking water for the residents of Kuttanad. With an impressive monthly capacity of nine lakh litres, this plant effectively eliminates common contaminants found in the region's groundwater, providing a dependable and safe water source. Our unwavering commitment to equal health opportunities and environmental sustainability drives our efforts to foster a healthier and prosperous community in Kuttanad.
