Santhi Theertham
Bringing clean, solar-powered, free drinking water to families in Kuttanad and other parts of Kerala where clean drinking water is scarce. Because water is life.
Water is life, but scarcity is the reality.
Kuttanad is famous for its vast paddy fields and unique geography, lying below sea level. Yet, this creates a severe paradox: despite being surrounded by water, the region faces an acute scarcity of clean drinking water.
Frequent floods contaminate open wells, and groundwater is inherently saline. For years, inhabitants have relied on distant piped connections or expensive purchased water, placing a heavy burden on daily life.
The crisis is not a lack of water. It is a lack of safe, affordable water where families live.
