Rehabilitate Kerala

The recent landslides and torrential rains leading to the floods has crippled and damaged the normal life of people in every part of Kerala. Our team were immediately in action and started activities from August 17th onwards, distributing dry grocery, water and clothes to over 1000 families in Wayanad alone, where there are more tribal settlement areas. This and many such remote locations were left stranded. We took up relief activities on priority basis and our volunteers worked tirelessly to mobilise the smooth distribution of collected materials in affected areas.

Lal Cares is the organisation supporting us from GCC countries with collection and transportation of relief items. Right now, our team is getting ready to receive the relief Items coming by way of air and freight Cargo from GCC countries and other countries, upon arrival of these items a meeting of the team will be arranged and the items will be distributed to affected people across Kerala. The items coming includes grocery, clothes, ready to eat food items, medicines, personal hygiene products etc worth Rs 3.5 crore. A team has already been set for overlooking the packaging and proper sorting of these items.
